VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
All volunteers are required you complete Virtus Training VIRTUS® Online (virtusonline.org and the *NEW* https://protectmokids.com/. Both are available online and when completed certificates need to be emailed to or dropped off at the school office. These are both diocesan requirements for volunteers in any school.
Volunteer opportunities are frequently listed in the weekly parent newsletters and class Facebook pages. Please check these resources for unique opportunities to lend your time and talents.
If you plan to volunteer at OLP on an ongoing basis, please read our VOLUNTEER LETTER, linked at left. It gives detailed information about the requirements that must be met within the school’s safe environment plan, and how to go about meeting those requirements. Note that the Protecting God's Children class is required only once. There is no need to repeat the class if you have already taken it.
OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO): Many opportunities exist through OLP’s PTO. Please visit the PTO Tab for detailed information.

Parent on Patrol: Half and full days available. Volunteers provide an extra presence around the school building, at recess, in the cafeteria etc. If you are interested in participating in the POPPS program please contact Gaetano Falcone at popps@olplsschool.org.
