Our Lady of the Presentation School takes pride in the educational standards and religious education that sets us apart from other educational institutions and we would like to maintain that standard. The wearing of a school uniform is one of the ways that sets us apart from others. Combined with the cost savings and morale builder, we want to continue this tradition and we value the school family’s support in maintaining this standard.
Regular School Uniform Days: Most of OLP’s school days require students to be in uniform, as set forth in the Uniform Policy linked above.
Spirit Days: Most of OLP’s Early Release days allow students to be dressed in “Spirit Wear.” Generally, Spirit Wear is defined as an OLP Spirit Wear shirt with “dress down” bottoms. Specific details are outlined in the Uniform Policy.
Dress Down Days: Occasionally, students will enjoy the privilege of “dressing down.” Dress Down days allow students to wear regular street clothing, with certain restrictions, as outlined in the Uniform Policy. Dress Down Days are usually designated service days, sponsored by the student Leadership Team, for the benefit of a certain organization. On these days, students are asked to contribute a small monetary donation ($.50 - $1.00), in exchange for the privilege of dressing down.
Students not in compliance with the Uniform Policy on any of these days will be required to call parents to bring appropriate clothing.
