My name is Marianne Organ and I am privileged to be the principal at Our Lady of the Presentation School. I am a product of Catholic Schools myself, having attended Xavier Elementary and Immaculata High School in Leavenworth, Kansas. I then went on to receive my undergraduate degree in education from Avila University.
I began my teaching career at O’Hara High School before moving to Memphis, TN where I worked for the Catholic Jubilee Schools for 10 years while earning my MS in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Memphis. Upon returning to Kansas City, I was a part of the founding faculty of Cristo Rey High School where I served as a teacher as well as an Assistant Principal for 12 years before coming to Our Lady of the Presentation. It was during this time I also earned my administrative credentials from Benedictine College in Catholic School Leadership.
I thoroughly enjoy being a part of such a generous and thriving Catholic community and am proud to be able to bring my youngest son, Liam Hughes, to school with me each day. I consider it a blessing to be in my role and look forward to working with such a strong staff and loving group of students each day.
