I started teaching Middle School Religion at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic School in 2009. However, I began my journey as part of the Presentation staff in 2003, working previously at the Early Childhood Center, as both a teacher and assistant director; I am so blessed to have been a part of this community for so long!
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Masters degree in Teaching from the University of Central Missouri. I have also served as a catechist in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Children’s Faith Formation, and Confirmation programs at Presentation. I am blessed to serve our parish by serving the children and you, their parents.
My husband, Mike, and I have three children who all attended OLP and we are so thankful for the incredible Catholic education that our children have received over the years. My primary goal is to help my students not only grow in their knowledge of the Bible and the Catholic faith, but to develop and foster a desire and love of learning about their relationship with Our Lord, Jesus Christ and their role in God's plan for the world.
As parishioners, we enjoy seeing all of the friendly faces at parish and school events throughout the year, which makes us feel at home here at Presentation, and we count our faith community as one of our greatest blessings! I will keep all of you and your children in my prayers. Please let me know if you would like us to offer personal petitions or intercessory prayer on your behalf - we gladly pray for all. Have a blessed school year!
