Grade 3 - Mrs. Brigid Oberkrom

Welcome to 3rd Grade!
 
My name is Brigid Oberkrom and I love teaching 3rd grade at Our Lady of the Presentation School!
 
My husband Steve and I have been OLP parishioners for 30+ years.  We have three wonderful sons: Matthew, Chris, and Josh. Our oldest son attends a day program here in Lee's Summit for adults with special needs. Our two youngest sons are in college. We also have a sweet cat named Lucy.  In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family,  go to the Lake of the Ozarks,  and read.  I enjoy cheering on the Royals, Chiefs, and Missouri Tigers!

I received  Bachelor of Arts degrees in both psychology and sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. I received my teaching certification in Elementary Education (1-6) as well as Middle and High School English Language Arts.

Please know I have your child’s best academic, emotional, and spiritual interests in mind.  Each child brings their own special gifts to the classroom. I look forward to finding out what gifts my students will bring with them this year.
