Tuesday, October 31, 2023, 2:30 PMTuesday is a Halloween themed dress down day. Please no costumes. Halloween parties will begin at 2:30. Thank you to all of our room parents for their organization and for all of our families that are contributing. For logistical reasons, and at the request of staff, we are trying to limit the number of people we have in the rooms for Halloween parties to 2 room parents only. With parties only being 30 minutes long and dismissal following beginning at 3:00, having too many parents in the building is very difficult for teachers to navigate. Our checking in and out system, parking for dismissal and security issues also play a part in this decision. We thank you for your understanding, and will continue to look for ways to bring families in for classroom activities and opportunities that do not involve the entire building.
If you are a room parent in a classroom with more than 2 please talk with one another and divide responsibilities between Halloween and Valentine’s Day. All room parents must be Virtus compliant.
