Grade 2 - Mrs. Stevie Bader

Welcome second grade families! I am Mrs. Bader and this is my fourth year here at Presentation. I taught 1st grade for my first two years here at OLP, and after teaching 2nd grade last year I believe I have found where I belong. I was so excited to get to teach second grade last year and it seems to be the grade for me. I look forward to another new year!

I myself graduated from Our Lady of the Presentation and have always loved being at this school. I went to O'Hara for high school to continue my Catholic education. I earned my BA in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University; go Bearcats! I also ran cross country and track and field in college. I have been helping with the coaching team for both cross country and track at Presentation for 3 years now. I have loved getting the chance to work with some of our older students several times a week during the fall and spring.

My husband and I live together with our two cats Filli and Killi. Our newest addition to the family, a baby boy, is due August 12th. We like to run, ride bikes, hike, kayak, frisbee golf, and just be outside as much as possible. With the baby coming right before school starts I will be missing part of the beginning of the school year. Mrs. Humm, who taught 1st grade at Presentation last year, will be my long term substitute until I return. Although, I look forward to coming back to school and meeting my class soon. I know we are going to have a great year!
