Our Lady of the Presentation School relies on three major fundraisers each year, which help to support school finances. While tuition is the school's primary source of income, we would not be able to fund all our needs without the additional resources from these important, volunteer-run events.
Each September, our Parent-Teacher Organization holds the annual PTO Golf Tournament. The tournament is the primary source of funding for the PTO, which, in turn, provides support to our school as a whole, individual classrooms, teachers, students, and families.
In November, OLP holds an annual Turkey Trot 5K event, within the Lee's Summit Community. The proceeds of the Turkey Trot benefit the OLP Library and Lee's Summit Social Services.
In April, OLP hosts its largest annual fundraiser, the OLP School Auction. Auction proceeds help to cover ongoing school expenses, as well as special projects to keep our school up-to-date, as determined each year.
